Like so many of you, I struggled with my skin for years. At 12 years old, I developed acne. It wasn’t just a few pimples, it was full-blown, painful and inflamed acne that covered my entire face, and I was embarrassed by my appearance.
My acne story isn’t unique.
I went from a vibrant, happy pre-teen, to a deeply insecure girl who couldn’t even look at herself in the mirror, let alone make eye contact with others. I didn’t feel pretty, I lacked confidence, and I lost my glow.
If you’ve ever struggled with your skin or even self confidence, I’m sure you can relate. These insecurities made me fall well beneath my life’s potential for the next decade.
