LASER HAIR REMOVAL

BEFORE:

Please closely shave prior to your appointment and avoid UV radiation and sun exposure before treatment. The closer the shave, the more effective the laser session will be. Sessions are scheduled in 4-8 week intervals. Avoid all laser hair removal methods that remove the hair from the follicle for a minimum of 6 weeks before laser session (waxing, plucking, threading, hair removal creams.) Discontinue use of retinoids for a minimum of 5 days prior to treatment. Limit forms of deep exfoliation for a minimum of 5 days prior to treatment. Check if any medications you are using or have recently used cause skin photosensitivity.

AFTER: avoid UV radiation and sun exposure for a minimum of 1 week post treatment. Wear and reapply sun protection cream to all lasered areas once sun exposed. Avoid saunas, hot baths, hot tubs, and general heat for as long as redness persists after treatment. Avoid exfoliating post laser if redness or irritation is present. Keep the lasered areas well hydrated with moisturizer. Avoid vigorous exercise the same day as your treatment.

CHEMICAL PEELS

BEFORE:

Do not exfoliate 48 hrs prior to appointment. Stop all retinols or topical medications 1 week prior to appointment. Expect induced peeling 2-4 days after your appointment, this may last up to 2 weeks. These peels are designed to treat the skin from within, so if visible peeling does not occur it does not mean your treatment was not successful.

AFTER:

Avoid other forms of exfoliation for 1 week following treatment, or while redness or peeling persists. Keep skin hydrated throughout the peeling process. Use hydrocortisone-based cream if experiencing inflammation or irritation due to rapidly increased cell turnover. Wear SPF DAILY!

Avoid hot rooms, steam rooms, excessive exercise, and sun exposure after your appointment as they may cause irritation and sensitivities.

Avoid picking at or tugging at any peeling or flaking skin. Let the skin slough off naturally as it's meant to.

MORPHEUS8:

BEFORE:

Do not exfoliate 48 hours prior to appointment. Stop all retinoids 5 days prior to appointment. Get excited about your treatment to come, it really is an industry super-treatment with proven skin boosting benefits.

AFTER:

It is normal to look quite "normal" after a Morpheus8, with the exception of treatments involving the resurfacing tip. This is because Morpheus8 works deeply within the skin's levels. Avoid all active ingredients for 1 week post treatment. Active ingredients include retinoids, Vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs and prescription topicals. Use a gentle cleanser like Illuminating Gel Cleanser 2x daily, followed by a moisturizer and sun protection cream (in the daytime). Wear SPF DAILY!

Avoid touching your face or aggravating it in any way.

Avoid hot rooms, steam rooms, excessive exercise, and sun exposure after your appointment as they may cause irritation and sensitivities.
